September 24-28

Monday

• Cosmetology I, we will begin Anatomy and Physiology unit.  2nd half of class, we will work on Cosmetology/Career Tech Show
• Cosmetology II will continue working on Summative Assessments List (due October 8) and weekly Time/Grade Sheets. Also, Pincurls will be introduced
• Cosmatology III will continue to work on Summative Assessments List (due October 8)

Tuesday

• Cosmetology I, We will discuss various types of tissues.  Students will demonstrate the proper massage procedures in manicures, pedicures, and facial massage as they relate to Anatomy & Physiology unit
• Cosmetology II will continue working on Summative Assessments List (due October 8) and weekly Time/Grade Sheets. 
• Cosmatology III will continue to work on Summative Assessments List (due October 8)

Wednesday

• Cosmetology I, We will discuss the major bones.  Students will demonstrate the proper massage procedures in manicures, pedicures, and facial massage as they relate to Anatomy & Physiology unit
• Cosmetology II will continue working on Summative Assessments List covering units:  Infection Contol and Hairstyling (due October 8) and weekly Time/Grade Sheets.
• Cosmatology III will continue to work on Summative Assessments List (due October 8)

Thursday

• Cosmetology I, Students will demonstrate the proper massage procedures in manicures,      pedicures, and facial massage as they relate to Anatomy & Physiology unit
• Cosmetology II will continue working on Summative Assessments List (due October 8) and weekly Time/Grade Sheets.

• All cosmetology classes:  First preview, Formative Assessment, of individual groups contribution to Cosmetology/Career Tech Show

• Cosmetology I, Infection Control Summative Assessment on Thursday, class review today
• All classes will address, work on Cosmetology Show

• We are currently discussing and preparing for the Life Skills, Your Professional Image, and Communication for Sucess summative assessment.  Summative Assessment will be Friday, Sept. 7th.
• Friday, you will address Sanitation laws and guidelines and apply to facial performances 

Cosmetology II and III

• We will review Principles of Hair Design to be applied to Hairstyling unit
• Braiding assessments this week
• Ready to Work: Time/Grade sheets due at the end of each week

Cosmetology III need to tighten up on Salon Management skills, see me for specific individual feedback
