November 17-21

Cosmetology I
Monday-Friday

• We will complete Anatomy Summative Assessments
• Students will be allowed to make up any missing assignments.
• Performance Assessments correlated with Anatomy unit:  students will be allowed to provide cosmetology services after all written assignments and assessments are completed:  manicure/pedicure, facial, scalp massage during shampoo services and then style hair as desired.

Cosmetology II
Monday-Friday

• Students will be allowed to make up any missing assignments, and assessments.
• Students are to work on completing Course Summative Project
• Performance assessments need to be fulfilled: pin curls and bases, fingerwave, wrap, roller-set, braiding, twists, thermal curling and straightening

Cosmetology III
Monday-Friday

• Students will work on styles for course Summative assessment/portfolio.  The Course Summative Assessessment Portfolio will include all Standards demonstration pieces.

November 10-14

Cosmetology I
Monday-Friday

• Our classroom will be used for students surveys/testing.  We will be in salon all week working on Anatomy related performances.  Students will be given a daily employability, ready to work grade each day, Standard 1.  
• Performance Assessments correlated with Anatomy unit:  students will be allowed to provide cosmetology services:  manicure/pedicure, facial, scalp massage during shampoo services and then style hair as desired.

Cosmetology II
Monday-Friday

• We will continue working on performance assessments: pin curls and bases. Any student needing to do their fingerwave and/or roller-set performance assessments may do so. 
• We will continue with our weekly time/grade sheets, which forces students to be accountable and self-regulated learners. Grade sheets are due every Friday.

Cosmetology III
Monday-Friday

• Students will work on Time/grade sheets, styles for course Summative assessment/portfolio.  The Course Summative Assessessment Portfolio will include all Standards demonstration pieces.

November 3-7

Cosmetology I

• Peer Teaching by Groups:  Students will continue with the Summative Assessment process with the Skeletal system.
• Performance Assessments correlated with Anatomy unit:  students will be allowed to provide cosmetology services:  manicure/pedicure, facial, scalp massage during shampoo services.

Tuesday

• No school for students

Wednesday-Friday

• We will begin Anatomy:  Muscular System
• Peer Teaching by Groups:  Students will continue with the Summative Assessment process with the Skeletal system.
• Performance Assessments correlated with Anatomy unit:  students will be allowed to provide cosmetology services:  manicure/pedicure, facial, scalp massage during shampoo services.

Cosmetology II
Monday-Friday

• Students will finish up "Standards Wall"  PBL, creatively displaying the standards, demonstrations and labeling that matches each standardard--unpacking the standards. should be unpacked.

• Students will work on Time/sheets, styles for course Summative assessment/ portfolio
