- Performance: students will learn to give healthy stimulating facials and learn make-up application
- Students will work on performance assessments and/or Cosmetology Show

- Students will be working on Time/grade sheets: students may choose to work on a pool of cosmetology assignments and performances all worth specific amounts of time. The time correlates to a grading scale. The time/grade sheets are due each Friday for calculation and grading

- Educational game: We will play Units-based Textbook Relay to familiarize students with the chapters and content of the upcoming unit.
- We will begin discussing and studying "Principles of Hair Design" which will be applied through the semester during the hairstyling, hair coloring, and hair cutting units
- Diagnostic assessment: Students will be pre-assessed on styles
