HS-ACS-12. Students will display continuity of salon services they have previously mastered.
Demonstrate application of skills through salon services via client or mannequin (hairstyling, chemical, skin, and nail services, etc.).

  • 9 Week Assessment reflections have to be completed this week

  • Friday work on any missing assignment
  • Progress reports go out this week

Chemical Texturing Unit: Chapter 15
  • Complete and discuss Chapter Review questions
  • The students will demonstrate basic wrapping procedures, choosing from the following: straight set, curvature wrap, bricklay wrap, weave wrap, double-rod wrap, and spiral wrap.
Cosmetology II and III
Chemical Texturing Unit: Chapter 15

  • The students will demonstrate basic wrapping procedures, choosing from the following: straight set, curvature wrap, bricklay wrap, weave wrap, double-rod wrap, and spiral wrap.
  • Students will apply a chemical perm/relaxer.
***Cosmetology club will meet Thursday right after school***

    Cosmetology I


    • It took more time than I thought for you all to finish the 9 weeks assessment and finish the Anatomy quizzes last week.  So, we now will begin next unit: Chemical Texturing
    • Performance assessment: mock relaxer, mock perm 


    Cosmetology II and III
    • Monday--you all will be given the opportunity to make up any missing assignments, performance assessments
    • It took more time than I thought for you all to finish the 9 weeks assessment last week. So, we will continue Haircoloring Unit: formulating colors and understanding various volumes of developers
    *All classes, tutoring is offered every Tuesday and Thursday mornings

    *Cosmetology Club will not meet this Thursday--I have to attend the Region cross-country meet.
