Cosmetology II and III
Hairstyling unit incorporating Braiding--we will discuss braiding techniques. Students will have to demonstrate the various ways to braid hair and create hairstyle combination, ex. finger waving and braids, braids and curls.
Cosmetology I
Unit: Chemistry in Cosmetology
Students will explain the difference between organic and inorganic chemistry, discuss the different forms of matter—elements, compounds, and mixtures, and explain pH and the pH scale.
