  • We will begin Unit 1, Origins/History of Cosmetology:  Students we will read and discuss chapter 1.  Students are to complete the chapter review questions

Unit 1:  Safety and Infection Control
  • We will begin Unit 1, Infection Control:  Students we will read and discuss chapter 5, Infection Control.  Students are to complete the chapter review questions 
  • We will review materials from level 1

  • Educational game:  We will play Units-based Textbook Relay to familiarize students with the chapters and content of the upcoming unit.
Cosmetoloy II
  • We will begin discussing and studying "Principles of Hair Design"  which will be applied through the semester during the hairstyling, hair coloring, and hair cutting units 
  • Diagnostic assessment:  Students will be pre-assessed on braiding

  • Icebreaker:  Students will complete a questionnaire called "Who Are You?" and present fun facts about themselves to the class.
