WELCOME BACK STUDENTS!

• Students' schedules and transcripts will be checked to ensure proper class placement
• Teacher will introduce course to students:  Class and course orientation

Thursday

• Teacher will continue with class and course orientation each class

Cosmetology I

• Educational game:  We will play Units-based Textbook Relay to familiarize students with the chapters and content of the upcoming unit.

Cosmetoloy II

• We will begin discussing and studying "Principles of Hair Design"  which will be applied through the semester during the hairstyling, hair coloring, and hair cutting units 
• Diagnostic assessment:  Students will be pre-assessed on braiding

Friday
Cosmetology I

• Icebreaker:  Students will complete a questionnaire called "Who Are You?" and present fun facts about themselves to the class. 

Cosmetoloy II

• We will discuss "Principles of Hair Design."
• Continue with diagnostic assessment:  Students will be pre-assessed on braiding
