- Teacher will check schedules and transcripts
- We will discuss class expectations, rules, class routine, etc.
Tuesday
- As classes and schedules are being adjusted, we will continue discussing class procedures
- Students will complete "Who Are You???" questionnaire and present to class
Wednesday
Cosmetology I

- Students will complete "Two Truths and a Lie" icebreaker.
- Students will work on "Name plates."
Cosmetology II and III
Cosmetology I
- Students will create a portfolio, visuals and documentation of their performance assessments. Set up portfolio organizational slots
Cosmetology I
- Educational game: We will play Units-based Textbook Relay to familiarize students with the chapters and content of the upcoming unit.
- We will begin discussing and studying "Principles of Hair Design" which will be applied through the semester during the hairstyling, hair coloring, and hair cutting units
- Diagnostic assessment: Students will be pre-assessed on styles
