Welcome Back!

Monday

• Teacher will check schedules and transcripts
• We will discuss class expectations, rules, class routine, etc.

Tuesday

• As classes and schedules are being adjusted, we will continue discussing class procedures
• Students will complete "Who Are You???" questionnaire and present to class

Wednesday
Cosmetology I

• Students will complete "Two Truths and a Lie" icebreaker.
• Students will work on "Name plates."

 Cosmetology II and III

• Students will create a portfolio, visuals and documentation of their performance assessments.  Set up portfolio organizational slots

Thursday
 Cosmetology I

• Educational game:  We will play Units-based Textbook Relay to familiarize students with the chapters and content of the upcoming unit.

Cosmetoloy II

• We will begin discussing and studying "Principles of Hair Design"  which will be applied through the semester during the hairstyling, hair coloring, and hair cutting units 
• Diagnostic assessment:  Students will be pre-assessed on styles 

 Friday

Cosmetology I

• Students will be given an overview of The Orientation/History of Cosmetology

Cosmetoloy II

• We will continue discussing and studying "Principles of Hair Design"  which will be applied through the semester during the hairstyling, hair coloring, and hair cutting units 
• Diagnostic assessment:  Students will be pre-assessed on styles
