Cosmetology I
Tuesday
- Students will complete whole class project: A description with illustration of their favorite aspect of Unit 1
- We will watch video clips of cosmetology procedures using products from nature as they did in ancient history. We will discuss Unit 1 as a review for test Thursday: Cosmetology Orientation, Life Skills, Professionalism and Professional Image, Communicating for Success.
- We will discuss Unit 1 as a review for test tomorrow: Cosmetology Orientation, Life Skills, Professionalism and Professional Image, Communicating for Success. We will play VocabRelay
- Students will take Unit 1 Summative Assessment
- We will recap Unit 1: Cosmetology Orientation, Life Skills, Professionalism and Professional Image, Communicating for Success. Students will work on performance assessments/cosmetology services.
Tuesday-Friday
- Students will revisit Principles of Hair Design for hairstyling
- Students will begin "Walk-in" client series--students will respond to a different "walk-in" scenario/request each day.
- Students will work on Time/Grade Sheets
- Students will take key terms test to prepare for EOPA
- Time/Grade Sheets are due
